When the classic "Journey to the West" met outdoor trekking, and teamwork encountered fun challenges, SONT’s "Journey to the West Treasure Hunt" team-building event successfully concluded in Shenzhen and Nanchang in October. This cross-regional gathering not only brought outdoor enjoyment but also strengthened team cohesion, embodying the SONT spirit of "One team, one heart, one victory."

"White Bone Demon, SONT’s finest!" "Golden Horn ensures your win, treasure hunting never ends!" On the day of departure, the warm sunshine set the perfect scene as colleagues from both cities gathered early. The "Unlock Your Journey to the West Identity" lottery ignited excitement. From the Bull Demon King to the Scorpion Demon, each "monster team" received unique identities and slogans. Armed with mission cards, they set off for their respective destinations—Shenzhen’s Yangmeikeng, Luzui Manor, and Dayan Peak, or Nanchang’s Wucheng in Yongxiu, Jiujiang—united in pursuing a common goal.

Journey: Scenery as Witness, Collaboration as Poetry

The stunning landscapes along the way were matched only by the value of teamwork. Shenzhen colleagues trekked across Yangmeikeng Beach, admired the sea views at Luzui Manor’s "Mermaid Cave," and marveled at the vast mountains and sea. In Nanchang, team members strolled through Wucheng, where the gentle breeze of Lion Mountain and the lively scenery of Poyang Lake’s Migratory Bird Museum served as a beautiful backdrop to their collaboration.

Fun challenges highlighted the essence of teamwork. In Shenzhen’s "Twin Demons Guarding the Sacred Pearl," team members adjusted paper angles and coordinated rhythms, learning from mistakes to find solutions. The "Monster Skill Challenge" required passing hula hoops hand-in-hand, synchronizing movements to overcome obstacles. During checkpoint missions, team members directed positions and filled gaps proactively. In the "Tail Tug" PK, division of labor, containment, and protection were key to scoring points.

In Nanchang, "Trust Walk" exemplified trust and collaboration: guides gave precise directions, walkers placed full trust in them, and prompts and assistance before obstacles brought the concept of "mutual support" to life.

Glory: Points as Tributes, Unity as Crowns

The finish line was filled with triumphant joy. At the "Journey to the West Treasure Auction," teams used their accumulated points to bid for blind boxes, reaping the rewards of their collective efforts. During the "Dice Challenge," trailing teams never gave up, staging comebacks through trust, demonstrating the power of "unity creates opportunities." While blind boxes and points had their winners, the glory belonged to every SONT member—the support on uphill climbs, encouragement after setbacks, wisdom in tackling challenges, and cheers at the finish line. This collective honor transcended rankings, reflecting only the spirit of "we" advancing together.

In the afterglow of the event, colleagues cherished not just the beautiful scenery but the warmth of collaboration. Everyone deeply realized that work, like trekking, values individual ability, but teamwork is the core driving force for overcoming challenges and moving forward steadily.
